I currently work with individual adults and couples.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length and take place at my home in North Dulwich.
Online sessions, local home visits, or walking sessions are also possible on request.
Therapy sessions will usually be held weekly, at the same time and day each week wherever possible. I offer short term (6-12 sessions) as well as longer term work. At the outset we will discuss how many sessions feel appropriate, or whether we will work in an open-ended way and have regular reviews to assess your progress and needs.
Individual sessions are £110 for 50 minutes.
Couples sessions are £130 for 50 minutes.
An initial 15 minute phone consultation is offered free of charge.
Concessions are available on request.
I am an integrative practitioner - I work with the individual client to tailor a treatment using various approaches to best meet their needs. I have extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy which I have undertaken in London, Surrey, Sydney and San Francisco.
I work with people with a range of presenting issues including:

“Dr Anita Chakraborty is an excellent therapist. I’ve been to regular sessions with Anita throughout 2024 and she has helped me immensely during a very difficult time in my life. Anita creates a safe environment, she offers a listening ear and gives wise guidance. Anita has helped me work through past traumas and to build confidence in myself. With her support I’ve been able to make necessary changes to my life. I highly recommend her.”
